ive been cosplaying since october london expo 2006,i first was introduced to it when i got the internet for a year and was surfing around for anime, basically ive been watching anime since i was 5 and all i thought it was was cartoons like any other but when i was 12 and got the net i started realising what it was like the culture etc and then the costume eventualy and that when i found london epxo,so i thought wow that looks real cool i ll give that a whack and so i did and i loved it so much, and made alot of friends and some of my best friends ive known for year snow
mike,amber,alex,jake, and the force, and ive just been hooked to cosplay since then and everysingle expo i go to i do a cosplay for each and eve day, all different
as i said ive been an anime fan for years and love the music and i love the art, some people say cosplaying is a waste of time and that its jus copying someone elses work well its not a good friend(hellokitty) pointes this out to be, that your not copying, your bringing a 2d character to a 3d life, your making it real andpossible wiht he feel, the smell the touch and the detail of the costume so you have your own real life anime character

and at the moment im having a little phase of dynasty warriors and samurai warriors or anythin koei haha a mr Jacob kimber has got me back into it as i used to play theise games all the times and now im doing about 4 cosplays from each games lol

ill admit to i did get my first ever costume commisioned and then a few ood ones after that but onwards and upwards i began to have a passion to want to make my own from scratch and thats were my first best expo friends mike and amber came along and invited me down their place, we all sat down and they explained how to sow (which i picked up quickly i thought) and how to follow a pattern which i stil dont get haha but hey i made my first costume from scratch, that was gohan which was launched october expo 2007,and i tell you what the confidence and proudness you get when people say your costume is awsome , and you can say yea i made that its just an unbalievable feeling
i must say im very proud of myself for what i can do now what i couldnt do before thanks to my friends and now i can get on with it on my own and hopefully soon be able to show them some amazing costumes and show how much better ive gotten, and the amount of cosplayers in britain now is amazing its always such a pleasure to see so many people giving it a go wether bought or made themselves
its always nice to see people doing it.
