Personal Bio

I'm a tiny blonde whose spent quite a bit of time being a staving professional actor. From small budget films to episodes of Brookside. My career is far from being glamous. I did train as a stunt person before the career was cut short due to a back injury. So I have 14 weapon skills under my belt. I enjoy most things geeky and fun. From being a lifelong Star Wars fan to a huge fan of Sephiroth. I enjoy seeing films at the cinema, going out for meals, planning world domination on Sims 2 (complete with adult hacks and my own created sims). I hold a BA Honours degree in Drama/Art. I hope one day to be successful at something and have fun doing that. I've been medically dead twice (both for about aminute) so I enjoy life at its fullest. I love al things chocolatey and have a weakness for Italian food.

Cosplay Bio

I've been cosplaying since 1992 and have attended over 100 sci-fi and fantasy conventions. This year will be my first at an anime event. I've created over 50 costumes either for myself or as comissions. I'm now a global moderator for SquarePlay.com a website deicated to cosplayers from Final fantasy and other Square Enix gamnes. http://orcasora.proboards92.com

I've now worked professionally in Manchester Palace theatre as part of the warbrobe deptment. I'm now the resident judge at Showmasters events. This includes Collectormainas www.showmastersonline.com

I've enjoyed the challanges that cosplay presents and all the people I've met though it. I hope to be part of more groups. I also plan to make even more challanging cosplays next year like Safer Sephiroth from FF7.

To show how far I've come and how much costumes have changed over the years I have posted some of my older costumes. The first one made in 1989. Cosplay was very different. Not so much was put into serious competing or photo shoots. So the quality of the costumes are low in comaprison with todays cosplays. Budgets for cosplay back then was very little. So most of them were done under £50. Also the photo quality isn't great. I wanted to share with you some of my favourites over the years (also that I've lost several dress sizes since then. LOL!). These are mainly mainstream Sci-fi based.

,,,James '[info]'ilpala ,  Eli '[info]'ashechan and Myalchod '[info]'myalchod .  Hope you guys have and had great birthdays.  I hope you got the prezzies you wanted got to do some crazy stuff and didn't end up too drunk.

Strange thing is happening to my LJ.  I can't post replies to peeps.  I hope that its just still part of my pc recovery and not some werid internet thing.  I hope to be back to normal soon.

Has anyone seen the latest 'Coco Pops' ad here in the UK?  Don't you find it creepy.  I'm not sure if I want to eat a bowl of cereal that has three hippos swimming in it to make the milk chocolatey.  Not at all healthy. Besides the bows that they are wearing on they're heads will get stuck in my teeth.  Talking of ads, whens the Coca Cola trunk Xmas ad coming back.  Its not Christmas until I see that.
